The Town of Fuquay-Varina is situated in South Eastern Wake County South of Raleigh, NC. This small rural town is being slowly fused into the Raleigh metro area an has become a desirable suburban community due to its affordable and nice homes, combined with good schools.
Considered a family friendly area, Fuquay-Varina schools are part of the Wake County Public School System (WCPSS). Fuquay-Varina has five elementary schools, one middle school, one high school and one public charter school. Over the past few years, the Town has made significant investments in downtown Fuquay-Varina. In 2006, downtown Fuquay-Varina became a North Carolina Main Street Community. The Downtown Revitalization Association has been very active in bringing life to the downtown area. There are cute shops, restaurants and locally owned business downtown and it's growing.
