Best West Cary Neighborhoods for Kids

My clients often ask me which neighborhoods are better for kids.  The good news is that Cary is a very family friendly town, with a lot of focus paid to parks, recreation and exemplary schools.  Many neighborhoods offer community pools, playgrounds and nearby parks.

Remodel Or Move

Remodel or Move - that is the Question
Most of us dream about buying the perfect home: a haven where we will live forever. But in reality, our needs change and we find ourselves moving, sometimes not just from one house to another, but often relocating to another city or even another country.
Home Projects to Improve Your Home
Once you have either built or bought the home of your dreams, there will usually come a time that some sort of home improvement project will be necessary. Perhaps you will want to build a swimming pool, or add a deck to improve your indoor-outdoor lifestyle. Or maybe your kitchen needs a home remodel to make it function better.
A home improvement project may be minor (like a quick paint job) or it could be quite complicated and costly (for instance if you have to replace kitchen cupboards). It’s when home projects are expensive and involved that people normally start asking the million-dollar question whether it is better to remodel or move.
Is it Best to Remodel or Move?
If you undertake a major home remodel you could end up over capitalizing on your house and face the risk of not getting your money back. But most times, a well-done home improvement job will improve the look and feel of your home and increase its value.
And then there’s the factor that some people simply don’t want to do any type of home improvement or home remodel. They’re happy to stay in their comfy haven that is what they call home – just the way it is.
BUT! And it’s a big but… if you are selling, you are going to have to address the home improvement issue and may have to make adjustments to the selling price. An experienced estate agent will be able to give you good advice. Listen with an open mind.
I am an experience Real Estate Broker and I would be able to have a look over your home and help you answer questions about making the improvement, over capitalizing or perhaps rather selling and making a move. Please give me a call and lets see how I can help you with this decision. Lisa Quin 919-559-1788 or lisa@lisaquin.com
