The area has a number of pet friendly restaurants including Ruckus Pizza and Pasta, Hibernian Pub and Spirits Pub and Grub, Burger Fi and Havana Grill. If you call ahead they will reserve a spot for you that is pet friendly and comfortable for you and your well mannered dog.

There are also a number of great hotels that welcome well behaved pets. La Quinta Inn and Suites, which I have stayed on many occasions with my dog. It has a great open lot adjacent to the hotel with lots of open space to roam. No pet deposit was required either so you did not have to think about the extra cost. The Umstead Hotel and Spa, Red Roof Inn and The Best Western Cary also accommodate your dog.

Leashed dogs are welcome on most walking and hiking trails including the American Tobacco Trail. Many Parks have a water fountain or enclosed bark park for your doggie friend. Some bark parks also have enclosed facilities separated for the size of your dog, so small, medium and large dogs. These facilities allow you to let your dog off the leash and let me have some space to run free within secure fenced environment.

Top Subdivisions Near Research Triangle Park Raleigh/Cary

Many people relocate to the Raleigh/Cary area because of jobs in RTP (Research Triangle Park). I have helped many families make the transition into their new lives in NC. It can be overwhelming with such a large area to choose from. Couple this with wanting to find the right fit for schools and a nice, safe community it can be scary.

Luckily there are plenty of excellent areas to choose in a wide range of price points. Having someone familiar with the area and someone who has worked with other relocation clients, would be a tremendous help.

Getting more specific about your needs and wants will help narrow down the search. Everyone has different needs and priorities when finding a home. Whether it's price, commute times, size of land, new construction or schools there is a good option for you but it will all depend on your must haves.

Keep in mind that neighborhoods within close proximity to RTP, also mean close proximity to RDU Airport. Some neighborhoods are in the flight path more than others, so if airplane noise is a factor you might want to ask about that as you narrow your search to specific neighborhoods or areas.

Here are some of the top neighborhoods near RTP (Research Triangle Park).
